About the campaign
Barovia is a valley the rest of the world has forgotten. The mist rolls in at dusk, the villagers bolt their doors, and the lord of the land, the vampire Strahd von Zarovich, watches from Castle Ravenloft. Nobody who arrives here by chance gets to leave by choice.
Strahd and Prejudice is our table's take on Curse of Strahd for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Expect gothic horror with a dark sense of humour, and a lot of talking: manners, grudges and invitations matter here as much as swords do. Be polite and be careful, because Strahd keeps notes on his guests.
What a new player should know
- Edition: D&D 5e. Josh is the Dungeon Master.
- Tone: Dread, mystery and the occasional wry smile. It's horror, not gore. We agree the lines and veils at session zero, and anyone can step out of a scene at any time.
- Starting level and character: Level 3 with no restrictions.
- When we play: Every other Friday at 7pm, in person.
- Joining: Sign in with the email Josh has on file. Your own page holds your character sheet, questions and recaps. The party pages hold what the whole group knows.
